The Borough of Broxbourne Awards

We are delighted to announce that we will be sponsoring the Borough of Broxbourne (the BOBs) Awards 2020. The BOBs comprise of eight different awards for people or groups that have achieved significant success or made special contribution to the local community. Inland Homes are looking forward to celebrating the exceptional achievements within the Broxbourne community at the awards ceremony hosted by the Mayor of Broxbourne on Friday 6th March 2020.

Herts Young Mariners Base

Inland is proud to sponsor the annual Bell Boat Regatta at Herts Young Mariners Base on 30th April 2020. Pupils from over 30 local schools will take part in the races, giving hundreds of children the opportunity for a fun and memorable day on the water. The Bell Boat is a twin hulled open canoe seating up to 10 children, plus a helm. HYMB offers outdoor educational opportunities to adults and young people from Hertfordshire, with a wide range of activities on offer including sailing, paddle boarding, caving and climbing

Broxbourne United Girls Football Club

We are delighted to be able to support Broxbourne United Girls’ Football Club this season. The girls-only club train at Cheshunt Country Club and offers five teams (Under 8s, Under 10s, two teams Under 12s and Under 14s) all of which play in the Hertfordshire girls Football Partnership League. (HGFPL).

The club prides itself on providing a platform for girls of all abilities and backgrounds to learn to play football, try something new, make new friends and learn life skills to help them along the way in whatever future path they take, all in a safe, fun, positive environment.

Apprenticeships & Job Opportunities

During the build process, the development will generate around 250 construction jobs and 30 apprenticeships, as well as supporting up to 1,150 jobs when the development is complete. Inland Homes is working

with local colleges to start an apprentice scheme for local people to gain construction experience working on site.
